Wills
Look under the Wills, Probates and Testaments section for the second part of our PCC Wills and probate records.
The wills are searchable by name, year of will, year of probate, area and profession. The search results also show the image of the original record. This will be expanded to cover all years.
Many areas not covered by PCC wills are covered by our will indexes in this section.
1881 census (Millions of records added)
Our new 1881 census material transcribed by us with links to images of the original census now covers Berkshire, Cheshire, Channel Isles, Devon, Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, London, Northumberland, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, Wiltshire and Yorkshire with many more counties coming over the next few months. It can be searched under the appropriate county census transcripts, Master Search or Family Search.
Overseas BMDs
We have added 22,000 records, with images. Bringing the total of records to over 1,000,000. This transcript covers the births, marriages and deaths of British Service Personnel throughout the world. The new data now also includes South African Deaths : 1899 - 1902

Worcestershire Parish Record Transcript (Malvern FHS Joint Project)
We have also added 35,000 individuals to our transcript for Worcestershire,
expanding our coverage and bringing the total to 305,000 individuals.

We have two new features on TreeView, the first is the ability to upload pictures and link them to family members and events. So now you can add a picture to that wedding and put faces to all those names. To link an image to an individual or event, go to that individual/event and click on the images tab, then click the “Add image” button and follow the on screen instructions.
Share Your Tree
The second feature is the ability to share your tree with friends and family. Just go to tools and click “Add a friend”, they'll receive an invitation to view your tree and as an extra bonus they'll also get a 30 day free trial to the Genealogist, if they've not already had one. The people you invite to your tree will not be able to edit or delete any details so you can be rest assured that nothing will change the next time you log in!
