Each census set has a personal use licence on the shrink wrap for a reason. We need to be able to recover the money for buying microfilm and paying the staff to scan, check and create CD sets.

Our sales of sets have been hit by people illegally selling single CDs and people copying CDs.

Apart from the fact they are breaking the law this has meant that various sets haven't broken even. We need your help to stop this copying and splitting of sets so that we can fund other census CD sets and our indexing projects.

Our thanks to everyone that is helping us reduce this problem which will help us complete the publishing of the census.
